The winners of the 10th Edition of the Ortigia Film Festival have been announced. The jury of the feature film competition which recognises first and second time directors, composed of Rachid Benhadj, Sabrina Impacciatore and Paola Mammini, have awarded Best Film to “Tito e gli Alieni”, by Paola Randi. “For the courage to challenge the genre, creating a film of precious originality which explores a universal theme; that of coming to terms with loss, through comical tones, without ever losing the credibility in situations and the power of feelings. A film that overwhelms and moves, demonstrating that budget limitations can be overcome when the inspiration is pure. A small miracle of creativity and magic.”
